Bought my Gold Tiger Luncheon ticket today. Cost is 17.61. I went ahead and donated an extra $2.39 to the Ouachita Alumni fund to make my credit card charge an even $20.00. We are having an official Sigma Alpha Sigma alumni event following the Gold Tiger Luncheon on campus. The class of 1973 S’s were awesome individuals and brothers. It made all of us new pledges so proud to be members of the Sigma Alpha Sigma. I owe so much to these guys.
Also, if any of you are a Ouachita alumnus for 50 years or more and were not able to attend the Gold Tiger 50 Year Celebration for your class, please contact Jon Merryman in the Alumni office. Because of covid, the Alumni office had a makeup Gold Tiger 50 Year Celebration, and I feel they would make some accommodation for you.
The Luncheon is not just for 1973 grads. If you were an S in the early 70s, you can still get a ticket until April 19 online. You are welcome to come celebrate with our 50 year grad S brothers. I am a 77 grad and I am just attending because of what these guys meant to me in my life. If the Gold Tiger Luncheon is not for you, please join us at 1:00 pm for our Sigma Alpha Sigma Alumni 50 year celebration on campus.
