Ouachita begins a new semester next Tuesday January 17. Thanks to Dr. Wick for agreeing to the SAS faculty advisor. I am attaching my file on the steps in progress for admission to being an on campus addition. Our next big challenge is recruiting 10 new members, electing a President and Treasurer from that group

Proposing in the future that at EAE Gold Tiger Luncheons we get together to remember S brothers from the Pledge Class of 1932-1982 who have passed on to glory. In 1932 Gillespie, Hagins, Martin, and McConnell founded Sigma Alpha Sigma underground at Ouachita Baptist University. ΣΑΣ is officially recognized by OBU in 1933 but because of The Great Depression there was no yearbook printed that year. This photo is from the 1934 OBU yearbook and the 1st images we see of our ΣΑΣ brothers.
